About Us
Boomers & Beyond was created in 2008 to provide social, cultural, spiritual and community service activities to Catholic men and women who are 50 and above. Our members are widowed, divorced, or have never been married, and are interested in meeting new people and exploring new activities.
We hold events and casual get-togethers throughout the year from September to June. You’ll find us sipping wine and exchanging ideas at informal get-togethers, touring historic New York neighborhoods, listening to best-selling authors discuss their latest books, tapping our toes to some cool jazz, or dancing the night away. We also coordinate annual community service activities, host informational lectures and classes, and end the year with a celebratory liturgy and reception in June.
Boomers & Beyond is a collaboration of the Catholic parishes of the Upper Eastside of Manhattan, in New York City.
